Sean is a Partner in our Corporate and Commercial Transactions team with extensive experience in the acquisition and financing, letting and disposal of commercial, industrial and retail real estate in Australia. He also has a wealth of past experience in cross border transactions while working as an investment manager and inhouse counsel for large international funds.
As a Partner in the Commercial Transactions team, Sean applies the motto of “improvise, adapt and overcome”. He is trusted by his clients for his extensive knowledge of the relevant sectors and his willingness to offer directions and guidance in complex transactions.
He is currently retained by several well-known corporations, funds and family offices to advise on their business dealings and real estate acquisitions.

Acting for a private company to acquire substantial shareholding in a ASX listed company.
Acting for a private developer for its acquisition of development site worth over $17M at Rouse Hill as part of GPT Fund’s divestment campaign.
Acting for a private developer in preparing and negotiating off the plan community title contract for a site at Pennant Hills.
Led the legal work stream, with the assistance of an external law firm, on the acquisition of a 14ha $800M parcel of industrial land from Qantas near the Sydney Airport.
Led the legal work stream, which included legal due diligence and negotiation of all transaction documents, on the acquisition of a $300M industrial estate in Siheung.
Advised a major Australian construction company on the acquisition of an office building in North Sydney.
Advised a major Australian insurance company on its proposed sale and lease-back of an office building.
